Full Job Description
Birchwood/Teak Properties is looking for a reservationist to join our team! This role processes all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received. The reservationist will provide attentive, courteous and efficient customer service at all times and maintains a thorough knowledge of our properties’ grounds, menus, and accommodations. This position requires a person who has expert communication skills and innate optimism. An ideal candidate should be able to maintain an upbeat attitude and be excellent at multi-tasking.
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking phone calls from current and potential customers
- Operating various computer applications while on the phone
- Creating, changing, and cancelling reservations at guest requests
- Assigning guest parties to tables in Open Table floor plans
- Resolving customer concerns quickly, efficiently and courteously
- Maintaining accurate knowledge of our organization to allow correctly redirect issues that cannot be resolved by the reservationist
- Accommodating and documenting special requests
- High school graduate
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Experience with OpenTable software preferred
