ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Resident Experience Manager, you create a professional, yet friendly, environment in the community, treat your residents with high levels of customer service and hospitality, and work with the Community Manager on marketing the community and improving overall resident satisfaction. Here are the roles you’ll play:

The Event Mastermind

    • Assist with developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating resident activities and events
    • Plan parties and activities, decorate the community according to the season and/or holiday throughout the year, and host monthly birthday parties to honor residents
    • Organize and facilitate resident outings within the local neighborhood based on their interests and abilities

The Planner

    • Assist with publishing a monthly calendar and resident newsletter to inform residents of upcoming activities; maintain a current schedule of events
    • Recommend supplies and materials needed to support resident events and programs
    • Coordinate transportation of residents to and from events outside of the community, which may include driving a community motor vehicle
    • Maintain records of all activities, including resident participation and satisfaction

The Resident Expert

    • Drive the resident experience by welcoming new residents into your community, providing them with relevant information, understanding their requests, and answering questions
    • Make a special effort to include newer residents by engaging them in activities and introducing them to others in the community with similar interests and backgrounds
    • Display your outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills while driving Better Living operational standards and programs
    • Maintain awareness of market conditions and trends for concessions

YOUR BUILDING BLOCKS OF SUCCESS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities (written and verbal) may be required based on the specific needs of the community
    • Computer software experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneSite preferred
