We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Manager for one of our communities located in the Tampa, FL area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in property management and be expected to be experienced in resident retention, renewing leases, rent collections, legal notices, processing move out paperwork and assisting the Property Manager in any additional duties assigned by the Manager. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maximizing market rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through effective marketing and leasing policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: – Prefer knowledge of Yardi 6.0 property management software program – Highly motivated self-starter – Responsible for all rent collections and notices to collect rent – Responsible for walking move outs and processing move out paperwork within 3 days of move out – Maintain constant control of delinquency and follow policy regarding delinquency – Responsible for lease renewals – Responsible for sending files to collections – Ability to meet deadlines – Details and accuracy are key – Highly organized – Maintain constant and detailed knowledge of market conditions and competition in the surrounding communities to better maximize rents. – Base Salary depending on experience * Please respond with your current resume, cover letter, salary history, and any other relevant information.
