Blue Chip Maintenance LLC is a maintenance vendor that proudly serves property management companies of single-family rental homes throughout Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. We are expanding and looking for a supporting Assistant Project Manager to help coach our team of technicians and plumbers. This position requires a person who cares about quality work and customer service. The company does mostly service and residential jobs, but commercial or GC experience would be very helpful. Most work is general handyman type service so it won’t require extensive knowledge of construction, but that is a plus if you have it.
Main responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager
- Develops outstanding Maintenance tech team – Supervise the maintenance technicians to ensure work orders and duties are performed to company standards.
- Create estimates on jobs supervising. Ensure appropriate approvals have been given and entered before work is performed.
- Manages technicians, training, and equipment required to complete the work orders.
- Process Tech payments by confirming proper job completions.
- Quality Control – Reviewing pictures of completed jobs and confirming they’ve been completed properly. Monitor completed jobs for payroll so the technicians are paid promptly.
- Enjoys coaching and developing people to perform at a high level
Qualifications and Skills:
- Taskmaster and Detail-oriented
- Love working on the phone and computer
- Ability to work quickly and multi-task
- Reliable and open to feedback
- Excellent communication and people skills
- The ability to express empathy and patience
- Experience with Microsoft and Excel preferred
- Experience with Maintenance and Construction
Hours:
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm – can work on-call Saturday from home (extra pay)
Compensation:
$35k-$50k in year one which includes bonus. Year 2- $40k-$60k+
