Residential Superintendent
CMK Construction, Inc. – Tampa,FL
A high-tempo construction firm specializing in residential construction projects is IMMEDIATELY seeking a residential project manager. Proven experience in structural residential construction, additions, kitchens, and bathrooms is REQUIRED. Extremely fast-paced and high-tempo environment. Candidate must hit the ground running, be a self-starter, project a positive and professional attitude, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate superb management and organizational skills. Full-time salaried position and company vehicle or vehicle allowance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the management of ten (10) to twelve (12) construction projects for small, medium, and large scale multi-disciplined projects. Projects will be a mix of mostly residential projects and some commercial projects.
- Directly manage assigned projects from start to finish.
- Ensure all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Remedy minor projects, punch lists, etc.
- Coordinate with Project Manager on scheduling and deployment of company assets, subcontractors and field technicians.
- Monitor and achieve stated goals, objectives, and production timelines.
- Ensures the company’s interests are protected and the entire scope of contracted work is completed per the contracted schedule and within budget constraints.
- Focuses on client relationships to grow and maintain core client base.
- Communicate with homeowners on a daily basis.
- Briefs Project Manager on labor needs, budgets and policy compliance.
- Reports to Project Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE)
- Three (3) years of progressively increased responsibilities and diverse experience in construction work to include direct experience in the management of residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Advanced knowledge of the construction processes, techniques, and codes.
- Ability to interpret contract plans and specifications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement schedules and other project metrics.
- Excellent speaking, technical and business letter writing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, clients, vendors, and the public.
- Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint., Builder Trend
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- Salary $50,000-$55,000
- Bonus Opportunity up to $15,000/year
