The General Manager will lead a team of relationship builders who have a fire in their belly for customer satisfaction and to drive the organization’s revenue goals. This position will implement and maintain initiatives that support our revenue and sales goals while providing the exceptional customer experience and fostering a customer-centric culture. The General Manager is accountable for delivering world-class thinking and customer service, while identifying opportunities to grow relationships.

The General Manager will develop strategies to drive traffic to the community and maintain interpersonal relationships with all of our customers, prospects, residents, parents, guarantors, resident guests, animal residents, University offices & organizations, community partners and all Scion team members.

Qualifications:

  • College degree and 3 years of property management experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of educational and professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience of 3 or more full-time staff is preferred.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours, and up to 6 days per week during peak times.
  • Prior experience in a customer-oriented management role is strongly preferred.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards, with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Values and fosters a sensitive and supportive approach to a diverse working and living environment.
  • Handles multiple, complex projects, with minimal guidance, prioritizes effectively, and meets deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
