Must have the following in order to apply:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering; OR a minimum of five (5) years of Field Service experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Prior leadership positions within the power generation industry, with a minimum of 10 years of combined field, project management and leadership experience; and at least (5) years of managing direct reports
  • Statistical competency and familiarity with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
  • IT systems and process knowledge (Microsoft applications, oracle etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting processes, vendors, and industry standards
  • Working knowledge of and experience using MS Office suite, Project, Oracle and other applications used to obtain and manage data
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License

Job Description:  The primary responsibility of the Resource Operation Director O&G is to develop competitive strategies to effectively hire, retain, train and assign O&G resources. The O&G Resource Operations director, working closely with the segment directors will drive resource operational processes and compliance by establishing and maintaining operating rhythm throughout the segment, driving consistent behavior among the team, and supporting process/execution changes through data analysis. The Resource Operations Director will integrate and develop processes that meet resource needs across the segment, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. This position requires analytical and quantitative skills; demonstrated commitment for process improvement; interpersonal, leadership and team building skills; advanced presentation skills; demonstrated ability to motivate others; and organizational and planning skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop global initiatives focused on resource loading, resource qualifications, and career paths
  • Operationalize initiatives so they are sustained by the Resource and Service Managers
  • Guide the region resource teams, in partnering initiatives with quality and training departments to develop a training strategy
  • Develop, communicate and monitor a standardized operating rhythm related to O&G job fulfillment and resource management; simplify where appropriate
  • Work across functional departments to drive effective resource utilization strategies
  • Direct the collection and analysis of operations data and compare performance to established metrics for resource utilization, localization, resource qualification, and resource competency
  • Work with region leadership teams to develop and maintain Contract Review Board rhythm
  • Work Environment: Indoor; Office Setting.

Pay:  $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year. Depends on experience. Benefits are offered.
