Restoration Project Manager – Full Time

Full-service restoration contractor that has been serving the Tampa Bay area for 35 years is looking for qualified Project Manager to take charge and help our team propel to new heights in the restoration industry. Ideal candidates should first and foremost have a great positive attitude and be passionate in providing exceptional customer service. Project Managers should also have significant experience with restoration/construction projects from $2,000 to well over $500,000. A Project Manager should have the determination to go above and beyond to make a project run smoothly on budget, and on time.

Project Managers are responsible for the timely and profitable delivery of all products and services required to rapidly return customer’s property to pre-loss conditions. They must schedule services to minimize repairs and downtime following property damage while maintaining the highest level of customer care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support, facilitate, and coordinate the field work of multiple projects, written by the Estimators.
  • Identify and remove barriers to successfully complete all projects in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with customers, subcontractors, carpenters, and staff during the production process.
  • Understand the materials, equipment, and techniques needed for producing projects.
  • Coordinate with Estimators and Project Coordinators to maintain project work schedules and files during the production process.
  • Accurately schedule the project for timely completion. This includes the subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Regularly perform quality control site visits to working projects.
  • Regularly communicate with customers and set realistic expectations.
  • Maintain project files during involvement of the assignment’s life cycle.
  • Coordinate with customers and administration for timely collection of project payments.
  • Handle disputes in a professional manner so they do not escalate.

Requirements:

  • Pass drug test
  • Pass background check
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in skilled carpentry or general construction
  • Experience in construction project supervision
  • Knowledge or experience in the restoration industry is a plus

Education and Certification:

  • Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Graduate
  • Preferred Educational Requirements: 4 years’ college, or 4 years’ technical school. 2 Years Project Coordinating experience in the service/ remediation industry, with experience in the insurance or construction related industry.
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years’ supervising reconstruction projects in the restoration industry.
  • Military Service will be considered above all.
