Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa, Florida Office as a ROW Intern/Trainee.
Major Function/Role:
Work under guidance of technical professionals to provide support in the areas of right of way (real estate) acquisition, appraisal of real estate, records management, relocation assistance, and other related services. Opportunity to gain hands on knowledge and experience as a right of way intern.
Job Duties:
Carries out diversified tasks in right of way related activities involving research of legal documents and data management. Requiring the application of basic mathematics and basic knowledge of real estate as it relates to engineering, planning, and survey.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus six years related experience is required.
Special Skills:
Strong analytical, interpersonal, writing and communications skills. Ability to learn to read/interpret maps and plans.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
