OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Custom Home Model Sales Assistant is responsible for demonstrating Builder Custom Homes and community to Prospects, qualifying and properly registering Prospects, assist Sales Representative with follow-up, data entry, marketing, and social media as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES > Assists the Sales Representative as Required.

  • Demonstrate Builder Custom Model Home and properly register all Prospects.
  • Confer with Builder Sales Representative to identify, plan, and follow implemented methods to procure sales.
  • Assist in the operation of sales follow-up and computer system to track and market prospects.
  • Schedule Prospect appointments with Sales Rep., required follow-up procedures which include calling Prospects and obtaining feedback to report to Sales.
  • Assist with gathering information for weekly and monthly traffic reports to Builder and Community as required.
  • Arrive 15 Minutes prior to Model Opening hours.
  • Full time. Weekends Required. Casual Professional attire.
  • Perform other duties such as sweeping entryways and reporting any maintenance concerns to insure superior Model Home appearance at all time.
  • Attendance at periodic Builder events may be required.

Maintain High Levels of Owner Satisfaction with Professional Representation (Insure that Homeowners are happy and satisfied as indicated by a high level of homeowner satisfaction and few complaints) It is essential that the Model Home Sales Assistant maintains a positive attitude toward the prospective customers and residents and takes responsibility for superior customer relations. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Representative or Office Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

One year related experience and/or training; high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to fully comprehend and present Sales / Model Home collateral to all Prospects and correspondence working closely with Builder Sales Representative. Ability to perform basis computer data entry. Ability to effectively present Model Home information in one-on-one and small group situations to Prospects.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS:

Basic personal computer skills, including data entry, electronic mail (e-mail), word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

PLANNING / ORGANIZATION:

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Real Estate Licence a plus, not required.

WORK-SCHEDULE:

Regular – approximately 30-40 hours per week includes weekends Occasional exposure (1-33% of time) to outdoor weather conditions. ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe following skills, knowledge, and personal characteristics are desirable for job success: Experience in sales or prior model home representation preferred.Preferred General knowledge of representing/demonstrating a Custom Home Builder to their Prospects.Good communication skills Self-confidence, Outgoing.Assertiveness and Perseverance Ability to relate to peopleAbility to perform well under pressureJob Location:
