Health Insurance company in South Tampa is seeking a talented customer service/sales support professional. The position is paying $13.00 per/hr.
Job Description:
1) Answers all telephone calls within established department standards.
2) Provides verification of agent and status prior to providing information and assists agents/brokers in the areas of plan and product information: agent training, certification, licensing, member eligibility, and application status, both over the telephone and via the agent online portal.
3) Documents agent calls within the VIP agent Portal, ensuring that all notes are completed using established templates.
4) Maintains appropriate current source documents and reference materials.
5) Assists with material order requests via Custom Point ordering portal.
6) Assists with agent/broker oversight tasks and documentation
Requirements and Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required, Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the healthcare industry AND/OR customer service required Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, Previous customer service/call center experience required. Bilingual is a plus!! Need to be available to work a shift 8:00 am – 8:00 pm weekdays and 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Sat-Sun.
