Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Accounting, Finance, or related
5 five years of experience designing functional specifications to build custom reports for accounting, budgeting, and tax revenue, and generating reports using queries and info sets including SAP standard functionality for query building.
Must have 2 years of experience with: Developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing business solutions for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Financial Accounting (FI) modules including General Ledger (FI-GL), Contract Accounting (FI-CA), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), and Accounts Payable (FI-AP) sub-modules and Public Sector Collection and Disbursement (PSCD) industry solution, including integrating SD and PSCD with GL; Providing clients with SAP consulting services for tax and accounting support, budgeting, monitoring spending, and documenting accounting operations, and integrating taxpayer current account with GL; Participating in full SAP project implementation lifecycle including design, build, testing and cut-over, go-live, user training, and support; Customizing SAP modules to support government tax collection activities, including determination and posting of interest and penalties, dunning, submission to collection agencies, open items, installment plans and aging reports; Validating tax management models using SAP best practices and configuring and implementing PSCD to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with governmental tax regulations; and Resolving tickets and defects for current account areas, including posting to taxpayer accounts for tax liabilities, credits, payment, penalties and interest, and write-offs, as well as integration with GL and SD module.
Employer will accept three years of university-level study plus two years of experience in meeting the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
80% travel required.
