This position will report to the Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Eastern Region Property Manager and will be responsible to lead, direct and manage the SAS Largo and St. Petersburg Florida sites Property Management Team. This position will be directly responsible for the development and execution of assigned property processes and metrics. Individual will perform strategic and tactical functions, including, but not limited to:
Establishes and maintains a government approved Contractor property management system process for all government / customer property.
- Ensures that all property management system aspects required by the FAR and DFARS are properly accounted for and in compliance.
- Manage all activities related to assigned Property Management Team members.
- Provide direct communication and support with external and internal audit functions.
- Lead, assist in the development of, and direct successful process improvement changes that will enable a leaner and more efficient operation.
- Manage all activities related to successful process compliance as related to the Federal Acquisition Regulations and the associated functional outcomes.
- Develop, participate and coordinate activities that align to SAS objectives and support team objectives.
- Lead, direct and report on all Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
- Perform or delegate Gating review activities as required.
- Ensure the accurate review and documentation of contract property requirements flow downs.
- Solve complex issues or scenarios to successful resolution and completion.
- Brief upper management and Corrective Action Boards as required.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years related work and leadership experience in Property Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Contracts or Operations.
- Experience with the EAR, ITAR, FAR, and DFARS as pertaining to property management.
- Experience articulating points and counterpoints to an external or internal auditors observations / findings throughout the audit process as necessary.
- Experience with developing root cause analysis, containment, corrective action and preventative action plans to audit findings resulting from a corrective action request. Must have the ability to develop, implement and execute plans to successful completion and customer satisfaction.
- Experience providing both strategic and tactical team leadership.
- Change management experience.
- Inherent Leadership Experience demonstrated leadership ability in formulating innovative solutions, problem solving and team building.
- Experience in coaching, leading, and developing people to accomplish strategic and tactical objectives.
- Must possess demonstrated working knowledge and experience interacting with Department of Defense / DCMA / Military personnel
- Six Sigma certified or Industry equivalent.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Desired Skills:
- National Property Management Association Certification(s)
- Knowledge and experience in utilizing Six Sigma to drive process improvement.
- Windows Applications, SAP (APEX & PRISM), EVMS
- Effective Communication Skills Ability to effectively listen and communicate both orally and in writing with all internal and external customers as well as all levels of management.
- Comprehensive Writing Skills Ability to produce effective written documents, incorporating key language to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Regulatory Comprehension Skills Ability to comprehend, recognize and provide advice to the Company to ensure compliance and preclude potential noncompliance issues.

- Bachelors degree in a related field
