As a Senior Accountant, you will provide financial accounting and analysis support to all levels of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Prepare month end journal entries
- Complete month end close process by deadline
- Complete all balance sheet reconciliations
- Review general ledger accounts or input accuracy and completeness
- Review and run all required month-end reports
- Generate Financial statements – Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement
- Compile month-end general ledger book in accordance with department standards and submit for review by dead line
- Prepare periodic cash requirements forecast
- Prepare periodic operational metric reports for management
- Prepare accounts receivable analysis to ensure understanding on all past due balances
- Prepare deposits and cash reports
- Maintain document retention files for all departments
- Review accounts payable for proper coding
- Complete and submit all regulatory filings
- Support year end tax audits
- Assist other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 10 + years of Accounting experience
- 3 + years of Public Accounting experience
- Non profit experience preferred
