WG BUILD is seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our team! We are a construction company born from our engineering company, Wilson & Girgenti. WG BUILD specializes in HVAC, electric, plumbing and fire sprinkler installation and service contract work for new or existing remodeled commercial projects on a select basis. Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable is the main job responsibility
- Occasionally helping our Engineering company with AR/ AP when needed
- Review and coding of subcontractor/vendor invoices, coordinating approval of invoices, overseeing payment of vendors
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers to monitor budgets and ensure costs are properly allocated to projects
- Overseeing process improvements, ensure that appropriate controls and compliance processes are in place
- Monitoring and tracking bills and ensuring payments are made on time
- Investigating accounting irregularities
- Utilizing analytical skills to review job cost reports to ensure correct coding and accounting treatment
- Gather lien releases from vendors
- Help with miscellaneous administrative tasks if necessary such as vendor applications, permits, insurance renewals, etc.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting within the Construction industry
- Proficient with Quickbooks online and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Versatile and willing to help where needed
- Mentoring mindset
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability and drive to see objectives through to completion
- Well organized and can prioritize
- Extreme attention to detail

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
