Job Description:
Assists the accounting Manager and Supervising Senior Accountants in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger. Handles high volume of transactions, prepares complex account reconciliations and has significant involvement in the monthly general ledger closing process with specific emphasis on Foundation and cash activity/analysis. Provides support for the annual external audit.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or directly related field
Required Experience:
– Minimum three years previous accounting experience.
– Strong analytical skills required.
– Demonstrated competency of standard Microsoft applications and integrated financial systems required.
Preferred Experience:
– Previous hospital or foundation experience preferred.
– Experience with Lawson preferred.
