Requirements: 3+ Years Accounting Experience within the real estate industry
We are a growing nontraded, public REIT with a dynamic team managing over a $100mil in real estate. As we keep expanding we are looking to bring on a high level Senior Accountant with experience with property accounting, tax compliance, auditing real estate, and more. You’ll play a pivotal role in continuing the growth of the company!
What You Will Be Doing
– Developing & implementing financial models, forecasts, and budgeting strategies to support decision- making processes
- Analyze key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize financial performance
- Design and implement new globally applicable analytical and management reporting tools
- High level property accounting for residential homes
- Reviewing HUD statements for single family homes coming in and out of a joint venture
- Auditing real estate
- Tax compliance
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, CPA/MBA/CFA is preferred but not required
- 5+ years of real estate related accounting experience
- Strong background working within join ventures is a big plus
