The Axel Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. Our client is a leader in civil utility construction services in Central Florida, ranked in the Top 100 Private Companies in the Tampa Bay area. Clients include land developers, government agencies, home builders and private corporations.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Reconciling invoices, credit card use, equipment and others.
- Involved in month-end close process.
- Monthly invoicing.
- Monthly billing.
- Review staff accounts work.
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as Senior Accountant
- CPA preferred
- Experience in Public Accounting is preferred, doesn’t have to be big 4
- Auditing experience (construction auditing a plus)
- Preferred SAGE or VISTA experience, migrating to VISTA VIEWPOINT July 1st
- Exposure to AIA Billing
