SUMMARY
The Associate CAM will serve as a ‘CAM in training’ under the leadership of the General Manager. An Associate CAM supports a team of community management staff through timely completion of assigned administrative and project duties. The goal is to train the Associate CAM to be in a position within 12 – 18 months to be able to obtain a CAM license from the Florida DBPR.

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing procedures that result in efficient operating systems;
- Records management, collect and report statistics as required
- Prepare bills for approval
- Oversee recording and tabulation of operation data
- Monitor accuracy, completeness and timeliness of office procedures
- Provide quality customer service and deal with inquiries and concerns from residents
- Post community notices and announcements promptly
- Maintain calendars for meetings and assist with room setups.
- Oversee various operating procedures
- Perform specific projects as required
- Advise contractors and residents when special work conditions arise and/or new procedures are implemented
- Administer Upkeep work order system including approving requests, assigning the appropriate vendor to the work order, and tracking inventory.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least three to five years of administrative/office experience
- Must be highly organized and extremely detail oriented
- An ability to promote and maintain positive community relations and communicate effectively with the membership.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Foster a cooperative work environment.
- Multitask efficiently.
- Ability to be tactful in numerous situations.
- Ability to work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
- Proactive and team-oriented.
- Physical ability to perform a job description.
- Computer Skills (MS Office…Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet…)
- High skill levels in oral and written communication and the interpersonal skills required to react positively with other staff/ employees, property owners, volunteers, vendors, and other organizations’ representatives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Community Services a plus
- Experience working with Upkeep or other work order system a plus
- Experience with WordPress a plus
- Must be willing to obtain Community Association License within 12-18 months
