Job Summary:

The Senior Corporate Designer will be responsible for managing global design activities and overseeing contracted third party vendor supplied workplace design and product management services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, workplace standards, space utilization,
design and branding guidelines, vendor selection/contract management, training, reporting, and interaction with global regional Corporate Realty
Services project teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Working autonomously and considered a subject matter expert:
• Develop and maintain globalWorkplace Design Standards including the design criteria for Programming, Interior Architectural Design, Space Utilization, Mobility, Furniture, Finishes, and Signage
• Develop end to end Workplace Design Standards control to ensure guidelines are implemented to specifications, space efficiency, level of quality, costs and design intent.
• Develop and implement a change management strategy that supports theWorkplace Standards
• Increase visibility and awareness of global design standards though virtual training for Corporate Realty Services (CRE) project management and external Architects and Engineers.
• Establish design related requirements for completed projects to document the project history and create a database for design related information
• Manage and provide design support and guidance to project management by interfacing with the external design team to address and communicate design related issues
• Drive value engineering exercises to continuously improve Standards and mitigate unnecessary costs
• Support a global Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF+E) Vendor management strategy and implementation plan supporting business goals that provides quality products, services, competitive pricing and that aligns with the firm’s corporate social responsibility. Monitor service performances and metrics.
• Responsible for managing the FF+E, architectural and engineering scope of works for Master Letter Agreements with vendors.
• Work with Procurement to centrally to manage vendor relationships and contracts. Unify spend commitments globally whenever
possible.
• Realize contract compliance metrics to track contract utilization and to ensure adherence to new standards.

Required Experience:

• Ability to lead global virtual teams.
• 10 years of similar experience. 2-3 years of global corporate real estate experience advantageous.
• Ability to drive measurable results. Excellent reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of corporate interior fit-out related codes, ADA and LEED requirements.
• Excellent working knowledge of the commercial furniture industry and related supply chain.
• Interior design studio experience preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate and retail design and construction practices.
• Technologically proficient: Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional. Proficiency in CAD and InDesign beneficial.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school.
LEED accredited preferable.
