Regency Centers is seeking a Senior Leasing Agent to join our Tampa, Florida regional office. The Senior Leasing Agent will be responsible for the management of the leasing organization of company-owned properties on a project or multi-project level in the assigned territory and for developing and implementing an aggressive property-level leasing program to maximize occupancy and revenues through rental agreements, in accordance with asset goals and objectives. The portfolio currently includes over 20 Retail Centers and over 3M square feet of GLA. This individual will report directly to our Senior Market Officer.

Key Responsibilities: 

· Lease new or existing vacant space.

· Identify prospects and lease space in new developments.

· Renew existing tenants’ leases to achieve maximum revenues while improving or maintaining tenant retention and satisfaction.

· Lease, sell or develop outparcels.

· Prepare production reports and annual income budget reports.

· Provide research and analytical support.

Qualifications: 

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or related field from an accredited university; coupled with six (6) to eight (8) years of relevant experience.

· Prior experience in real estate leasing

· Knowledge of retail leasing industry and landlord representation, leases and sales contracts

· Intermediate level proficiency with current Microsoft Office software, email and Internet research functionality

· Ability to manage situations within departments to achieve common goal of growing NOI

· Ability to interpret financial underwriting with respect to a transaction, and ability to review credit reports and financial data of a proposed tenant

· Ability to travel throughout the market

· Quantitative and analytical skills

Preferred:

· Real estate license

· Established business contacts and/or knowledge of local market

· Retail leasing experience to include shopping centers
