The Opportunity:RS&H is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Leader for our Aviation Practice in Tampa, Florida.


The RS&H Aviation Practice is seeking to reimagine our national marketing approach to support our aggressive growth plans. We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Leader to drive planning and executing market-specific research and name-recognition strategies, as well as to manage internal and external marketing communications. The position will support the Practice’s strategic vision, working directly with senior leadership, industry thought leaders, and client management teams across the country.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth understanding of our clients through research, industry trends, close collaboration with our marketing/proposal teams, interviews with our client management teams and partnering with our Practice leadership; translate those insights into a marketing strategic plan with specific actions to drive Practice growth.
  • Partner with client management teams and other resources to create a “new client” targeting program that will support a significant increase in targeted projects to pursue.
  • Collaborate with our critical pursuit teams to design and produce effective multimedia strategies leveraging print, digital, and immersive technologies.
  • Conduct research to identify state-of-the art presentation strategies to set us apart from our competitors.
  • Drive and execute marketing communications strategies that support the Practice’s strategic objectives, including developing an effective social media approach; help identify thought leadership opportunities in media and through our trade organization involvement and support our thought leaders in developing presentations and papers; and promote the importance of thought leadership through internal communications.
  • Collaborate with our enterprise-wide Communications team to obtain necessary graphics and production support; help set priorities and develop a workable/achievable schedule for delivery.
  • Prioritize and align marketing programs with practice business development/sales initiatives; and manage high-priority initiatives and campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with AEC experience preferred.
  • CPSM or relevant certifications and continuing education a plus.
  • Communications driven with high desire to engage at all levels.
  • Proficiency with digital and social media strategies.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Sound leadership and decision making.
  • Highly analytical and design thinker.
  • Client-first mindset.
  • A master of time and project management, who rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.
