Senior Project Accountant
Park & Eleazer Construction is an exciting and rapidly growing company specializing in Commercial Construction with a High End Residential/Multifamily Division.
We are on the lookout for quality people looking to make an impact on both our organization and all those we encounter. The senior project accountant will report to the CFO and will be required to work in a team-based environment with significant interaction between the Controller and Project Accounting team members.

What you will be doing:
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly owner billings by the accounting team
- Oversee the timely collection of monthly project billings
- Manage all subcontractor requirements including insurance compliance and tracking, obtaining required lien releases and maintenance of NTO log
- Assist subcontractors with submitting monthly subcontractor pay applications through ProCore and review required documentation to ensure proper payment
- Preparation of weekly project required reports for distribution to the project accounting and leadership teams as directed by the CFO
- Assist Project Manager with preparation of contracts, change orders and project close-out
- Assist Project Manager with preparation of monthly job budgets and financial forecasting
- Assist the CFO with training and development of project accounting team as needed
- Assist the CFO with assigning the project accounting team to new jobs
- Assist the CFO with researching and resolving accounting related project issues
- You will be required to clearly and professionally communicate with various team members including the Project Management Team, the Accounting Team, Subcontractors, Owners, Architects and other Business Partners.
What is preferred for this position:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- QuickBooks or other accounting software experience
- Procore or other project management software experience
- Experience with AIA documents, Lien Waivers
- Knowledge of Florida lien law
