Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Tampa, Florida
Summary:
Goodall Brazier are currently partnered with a Top 30 ENR General Contractor who are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in their Tampa Office.
In this role, you will lead and oversee a portfolio of complex projects, ensuring their successful completion on time and within budget. Your strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional organizational skills will be crucial in driving project success. Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Lead project teams and stakeholders in the execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective risk management strategies.
Foster a collaborative work environment and maintain clear communication channels among team members.
2. Resource Management:
Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with department heads and resource managers to ensure the availability and readiness of necessary resources.
Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
Monitor resource utilization and optimize allocation to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Facilitate productive meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements and share project insights.
Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address concerns or issues that may impact project success.
Act as a point of contact for escalations and conflict resolution, working to maintain positive relationships.
Experience Needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar studies.
Local Tampa/Florida building experience
10+ years building in Multifamily High-rise (not stick frame), Healthcare, Education (K-12 and/or Higher Education).
Experience building schedules in P6 or MS Projects
