Position Overview:
Senior Transactions Analyst will work with our Asset Management Group serving as a key member of the Transactions Team with a primary purpose to manage and oversee Borrower Request seeking Lender consent that include HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other Investors.
Under the direct supervision of the Transactions Manager the Senior Transactions Analyst will guide and provide support to Asset Management to ensure that Borrower Consent Request and post-closing Loan requirements are timely processed. The objective of this role is to improve the Borrower experience, provide support and guidance to Asset Managers and ensure that Servicing Standards are being adhered to throughout our Asset Management Group. This position requires the candidate to be a self-starter who can work independently to ensure Servicer fiduciary responsibilities are maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance to Asset Managers to ensure consistent implementation of JLL and Lender’s Servicing Standard.
- Monitor consent request activity to provide comprehensive service, ensure Asset Manager responsiveness and timeliness to improve workflows
- Identify important issues early in a transaction, implement a plan and scope of work to process request, as is applicable
- Provide support or leads highly complex request with significant scope/impact, providing solutions and recommendations
- Support Asset Managers who are travelling as a back up to keep request moving along
- Reviews consent request packages, engagements and approvals
- Conducts monthly reviews with Asset Managers with a goal to keep process moving along, identify risk and evaluate request
- Communicate regularly with Managers, providing updates identifying all relevant issues, discussions, evaluation and feedback on individual performance and concerns
- Facilitate information sharing across Asset Management
- Monitors mod/rehab during the construction phase
- Conduct monthly file audits, agency metrics and SRD pipeline outlook
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
Knowledge of real estate, Agency Guidelines, Multifamily required
Proficient in word and excel
Good verbal, writing and organizational skills
Exceptional time management skills
Ability to operate under demanding deadlines, multitask and work independently on high level loan issues
Ability to recognize and mitigate risk and administer Lender’s rules and regulations
Manage Borrowers, Loan Officers and Lender Personnel toward a successful outcome
