Franklin Street is currently seeking a Senior Vice President, Revenue to join our team in Tampa, FL.

The ideal candidate must possess 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, preferably in commercial real estate, commercial insurance, or a demonstrated equivalent. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is required, master’s degree is preferred. Commercial Real Estate or Commercial Insurance Brokerage experience is a plus.

Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President, Revenue will oversee all aspects of Franklin Street’s sales activities and related supporting departments. They will provide strategic guidance to our various business lines related to new business initiatives, oversee training and development activities, and will play a leading role in the firm’s data and cross-selling initiatives.

Business Development Strategy and Cross-Servicing

  • Create and Implement Business Development Strategy for each Line of Business.
  • Spearhead Business Development at the Company level for both Investor and Occupier Clients.
  • Establish Market Share targets by team and office with implementation strategy.
  • Oversee the use of the standardized sales model company wide.
  • Analyze client segmentation to enhance business development, cross-servicing, and growth priorities.
  • Lead all aspects of Cross-Servicing to improve collaboration and generate organic revenue opportunities.
  • Understand emerging trends and opportunities in the market to develop new revenue streams.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Capitalize on Commercial Real Estate industry knowledge and existing customer contacts to uncover future business opportunities.
  • Oversee all aspects of Sales Management.
  • Collaborate with Chief Platform Officer on internal CRM for Business Development purposes.

Sales and Training

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight in Sales performance and over the Training & Development Department.
  • Ensure accountability metrics are in place for the Sales team with robust reporting and accountability for each.
  • Increase average revenue per agent across all margin categories.
  • Ensure a robust training curriculum is in place and executed for all sales agents and support teams
  • Responsible for organization and execution of Annual Sales Symposium

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance/coaching to Regional Managing Directors.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred/bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college required. Degree in business, finance, real estate, accounting, or related field is preferred.
  • Active real estate or commercial insurance license a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, preferably in commercial real estate, commercial Insurance, or a demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new services development, marketing, and partnerships
  • Commercial Real Estate or Commercial Insurance Brokerage experience is a plus.
  • Inspiring and hands-on leadership style with demonstrated ability to align team’s efforts with the overarching mission.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, coaching and/or instruction preferred.
  • Prior experience working with databases strongly preferred.

  • Proactive thinker with a positive, and detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of industry and financial terms and principles including but not limited to leases, contracts, and financial instruments.
  • Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.
