Job Description

Great Jones is a dynamic, venture capital-backed residential property management firm. We are transforming the property management experience for our owners and residents, and we are seeking a technically proficient, technologically savvy, organized and driven Service Coordinator.

Job Duties:

  • Assess and dispatch maintenance requests
  • Review maintenance requests for warranty coverage and resident responsibility
  • Track open requests to ensure prompt resolution
  • Evaluate vendor proposals to ensure appropriate scope of work and pricing
  • Schedule field manager appointments, including move-ins, inspections, and turnover work scopes

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent time- and task-management skills – must be a master of administration!
  • Strong computer skills – must be comfortable working in a variety of applications – must be very proficient with Excel!
  • Clear, concise communicator, by phone and email
  • Broad-based understanding of residential maintenance – although this is an office role and we don’t expect you to have the skill-set of a true maintenance technician, we need you to be able to evaluate proposals to ensure that the scope of work is appropriate for the problem.
  • Must be familiar with HVAC, electrical service, plumbing, carpentry, and roofing
  • 3+ years of dispatching and scheduling experience, ideally in a residential maintenance environment

Candidates will be required to take a series of brief online assessments tests. These tests run between 8-12 minutes each and should take less than an hour total.
