Job Description:

Sunbelt Title in St. Pete Beach, FL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Title Resource Group (TRG) is seeking a Service Manager. TRG is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

The Service Manager position is responsible for oversight of the St. Pete Beach and other surrounding branch locations of Sunbelt Title and ensuring full accountability from its staff.

This includes:

  • Creating accountability for roles within the service team.
  • Overseeing the coverage of closings to ensure continuity of service delivery.
  • Making recommendations to streamline the closing process to ensure maximum service.
  • Initiating problem-solving measures that may arise.
  • Reviewing all complex title clearance issues and closing issues.
  • Addressing questions pre/post-closing.
  • Licensure as a title agent required.
  • Must be available to work during core business hours and have the flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Supervision:

  • Provide overall leadership and support to processing team players including answering questions regarding files helping to balance files answering recording questions and overseeing training.
  • ​Review and evaluate job performance of team players.
  • Counsel/coach team players as appropriate to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide escalation point for customer and client related issues-handle problem calls from customers agents lenders brokers etc. and provide solutions.
  • Approve and release outgoing wires approve and sign escrow checks.
  • Resolve service issues by maintaining high level of communication amongst clients and team.
  • Monitor volume issues across all your branches to insure productivity of all Team Players is maximized.

Relationship Management:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding to client concerns developing solutions and provide follow-up on client matters as the client’s primary point of contact throughout every stage of the title and closing process.​
  • Attend client/broker meetings to represent Sunbelt Title.
  • Make recommendations for increased capture percentage target agents and assist Marketing Representatives as needed.
  • Identify new opportunities for SBT to make a difference.
  • Manage day to day operations of branch.
  • Instill high customer service levels and expectations.
  • File responsibility as volume requires.
  • Assist with coverage during vacations end of month and volume periods.
  • Order track and follow up on all necessary documentation outstanding items for the Branch to make sure all files are moving along.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Five years of escrow processing experience is required
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of the closing process is required
  • Microsoft Suite proficient
  • Title Producers License and Notary Public required
