The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a sophisticated understanding of endpoint security. They will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to perform detail oriented tasks with the goal of producing high quality code. You will be expected to work well within a team that sets aggressive schedules and provide creative solutions to the needs of the business community. We expect you to be proficient with C# .Net and C++ programming and Object Oriented design. Sophisticated debugging skills will be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated subject matter mastery of endpoint security especially as it relates to endpoint protection from malware and data loss.
- Demonstrated ability to architect sophisticated solutions using components developed across multiple teams some of which are not in your purview.
- Demonstrated ability to translate between product specifications/features and technical design including the ability to enumerate pros and cons of design decisions to product management.
- Minimum of 10 years experience developing shipping product features, UI and/or infrastructure.
- A strong C# .Net skillset including both design and coding.
- Strong C++ skills
- Strong debugging skills.
- Experience with SQL – writing queries and database design
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work as a team member supporting the full development/testing/release process.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively to provide effective and efficient solutions to improve the customer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership to a software development team: Managing multiple simultaneous projects, mentoring team members, providing leadership in project planning and execution management.
Items that would be a plus:
- Experience with WinForms, WPF, Windows Services, Web Services, WCF, WFP, Driver development, Android development
- Experience with any of the following: DevExpress Windows or WPF components, XML, LINQ, Sqlite,
- Experience with the Agile development process.
