RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing the specialty leasing and sponsorship program, including negotiating license agreements for national, regional and local sponsorship and advertising deals as well as RMU’s (Retail Merchandising Unit), temporary in-line spaces and short-term activations in the common areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for driving revenue by prospecting new and working on renewal of short-term License Agreements and long term Leases identified by the company. Prospects for new retail businesses and operators. Follows up on leads and set appointments.
Negotiates all new deals, renewals, amendments and prepares all documents for execution. Manages the leasing deal flow process with prospective tenants, center operations and corporate to achieve budgeted opening dates.
Manages existing specialty leasing program(s) ensuring timely payments of rent, sales reporting, certificates of insurance are accurate and up to date and all licensees are adhering to license agreement terms.
Responsible for the development and implementation of an effective sales strategy to maximize revenue generation through specialty leasing. Identifies new kiosk, inline and RMU (Retail Merchandising Unit) opportunities and generates sufficient leasing activity to achieve targeted income objectives for property.
Monitors and manages all financial reporting, prepare budgets and forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Aligns with inline leasing manager, center management and Mall Retail national accounts team to develop and maintain the property merchandising strategy for each center.
Works with in-house maintenance staff to ensure RMU’s (Retail Merchandising Unit) and inline spaces are in ready-to-lease condition.
Focuses on improving existing programs and processes while assisting in the creation of new and varied programs that offer a fresh and inviting guest experience.
Coordinates specialty retailers� move-in and move-out with staff, maintenance and security.
Performs other duties as assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of three to five years of related experience and/or training. Prior specialty leasing experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real Estate Salesperson license.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
