Senior Accountant Roles and Responsibilities
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision for assigned
brands
Maintain account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid
expenses and payroll
Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Responsible for reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable, and other
subledger
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that
accounting procedures comply with GAAP
Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions
Prepare lease schedules in accordance to lease accounting standards
Assist in internal and external audit: prepare schedules, supporting
documentation, and research.
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management
reporting
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
4+ years of experience in month end close process
Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
Self-motivated individual capable of completing tasks independently
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills for data analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
