We are currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Associate to join our Florida marketing team. This position will be based in Tampa with regular scheduled travel to our Orlando office (or vice versa). The candidate will act as a liaison to our various business lines and teams to identify marketing needs and provide innovative solutions. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The candidate will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast–paced environment. He/she must have superior account and project management skills, and be a true self–starter.

Responsibilities: Internal liaison to our business lines and teams to identify marketing needs, help with strategies and ensure implementation and follow-up.
– Act as project manager on a large variety of marketing activities including brochure development, direct mail and electronic campaigns, presentations, video testimonials, special projects, etc. in collaboration with the internal graphics team (or outside vendors as required) and ensure the delivery of best in class marketing presentations and collateral materials.
– Participate in the development of property marketing strategies and play a significant role in the creative process for campaign development and implementation.
– Help develop client event strategies and execute events including planning, budgeting and relationships with outside vendors.
– Assist in the implementation and tracking of our Florida marketing plan and budget, including various internal and external marketing initiatives and marketing platform development
– Develop, implement and maintain social media marketing efforts including but not limited to JLL Florida blog, JLL Twitter, JLL weekly Social Share blasts and assistance with brokers’ LinkedIn profiles.
– Update and maintain JLL’s local Florida websites (5) with up-to-date and relevant information (latest press releases, landing pages, etc.)
– Support our Florida public relations strategic plan as needed. Act as liaison between our internal stakeholders and our Public Relations partner to ensure timely implementation of our public relations initiatives.
– Ensure the Florida marketing department follows our process and file guidelines, and assist Marketing Manager in the management and updates of our project workflow in Function Fox
– Maintain and update our intranet Connect site with up-to-date and relevant information and files accessible to our employees and stakeholders
– Educate and assist brokerage administrators in best practices for the utilization of marketing department. Participate to /present at internal lunch & learn trainings
– Assist with special marketing projects as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an advertising/marketing agency, or in a corporate setting – commercial real estate preferred or other professional service industries
• Evidence of successful marketing and publicity/promotion experience in a similar role required
• Strategic thinker with outstanding project management skills
• Must be proactive, take initiative and operate with minimal direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive team player attitude
• Comfortable and confident interacting with all staff levels within the organization
• Must be creative minded, have a strong sense of graphic design and be able to give creative direction to the graphics team. Knowledge of basic printing specs a plus.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills and able to operate with a sense of urgency
• Must be comfortable working on a Mac platform
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a must
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel required
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms a plus
• Knowledge of web-based website building tools a plus
