International company located near Tampa Airport is looking for a Benefits Analyst that will be responsible for financial analysis of claims, administration, participation, eligibility and enrollment for 401(k), and health and welfare plans. They will conduct analysis of business initiatives, benefit plan eligibility, participation and costs. They will assist with the annual benefits budget, identifying variance to budget, accruals, and changes. They will actively participate in acquisition and union activities including due diligence reviews. They must maintain vendor management and be responsible for service agreement enforcement and performance guarantees.
They will be responsible for compliance with federal and state regulations regarding benefits administration to include: ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, HIPAA, SOX, HCR and others as applicable and will continually be well informed of changes in laws, regulations and court precedents affecting the administration of the benefit plans.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must have at least seven years of related benefits experience
Experience with international benefit plans and working with union negotiations preferred.
Proven experience working in fast-paced, demanding environment and building relationships with HR Business Partners, Corporate Management and Benefit
Vendors.
