Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal and external content and communication production with key team members
  • Oversee the management of the master content calendar for all social media, digital and print properties
  • Responsible for PR and blog calendar, working in conjunction with key team members on content where necessary and ensuring content is aligned with editorial or annual marketing calendar
  • Responsible for editorial submissions, pitching stories, create compelling editorial and blog content
  • Quickly respond to media requests, industry issues and/or company crises in coordinated response with management
  • Manage corporate communications (inclusive, but not limited to newsletters, announcements, videos, corporate training materials) and association management (award submissions and annual statistics)
  • Press relations as needed
  • Assist in the ongoing merchandising and updating of existing promotions/programs while identifying potential areas to upsell our products
  • Write, edit and proofread press releases, newsletters, blogs and marketing material copy
  • Provide direction for the quarterly sales call decks along with accompanying talking points as needed, working collaboratively with Sales and Marketing
  • Provide content for determined marketing campaigns and promotional programs
  • Define and implement PR and Communication strategies to grow brand presence
  • Research and develop both original content and supplied, relevant industry content
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content across all platforms
  • Develop and grow presence and reach across social platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, You Tube and other channels
  • Define and implement strategies to grow brand presence in existing and new social channels, to increase followers and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with key team members to build strong content and digital & print advertising campaigns to best communicate brand stories and initiatives
  • Craft social promotions and digital & print campaigns including written, photo and video content
  • Keep current with emerging trends so that content is timely and relevant
  • Serves as a marketing spokesperson at large account meetings presenting on behalf of marketing
  • Re-purpose existing marketing plans to gain efficiencies
  • Analyze and report out on key marketing metrics on a monthly basis
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years relevant experience in marketing communications public relations, and/or a related field including research, advertising, management consulting, media, or publishing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field required
  • Proven track record of managing and executing data-driven marketing strategies and programs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated media relations expertise and success in both strategy and execution
  • Excellent communication skills, proven journalistic and writing skills, as well as strong verbal and presentation skills
