The Senior Contracts Administrator is a senior position responsible for contract administration, proposal support, contract negotiation, teaming agreements, long term customer support agreements and customer contact liaison to provide for proper contract execution and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal and contract requirements. The Senior Contracts Administrator serves as a key strategic advisor on contractual and business issues by identifying and mitigating risk, constructing favorable contract terms and conditions including appropriate subcontract flow downs, monitors milestones and deliverables through contract completion, act as liaison for problem resolution and assist the business in meeting/exceeding its goals and objectives. Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interface comfortably with all levels in the organization and with customers. Possesses superior organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to work independently to manage and prioritize day-to-day activities.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Responsible for cradle to grave management of contracts through contract close-out.
- Familiar with Nondisclosure Agreements, Long Term Pricing Agreements for commercial and defense customers, Blanket Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Service Agreements and other types of contracts in addition to firm fixed price contracts.
- A working knowledge of Contract Law. Commercial and Government
- A working knowledge of Terms and Conditions. Commercial and Government
- A working knowledge of Cost Standards. Commercial and Government
- A working knowledge of the basic Government Procurement Regulation (FAR, DFAR etc.) and Standard Commercial Contracts.
- A working knowledge of Rights in Technical Data / Intellectual Property
- A working knowledge of the basic Export laws and regulations, including obtaining Export licenses and Technical Assistant Agreements.
- Responsible for coordinating work with other functions to implement fulfillment of contracts in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinates the disposition of repairs and cost estimates.
- Able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Actively seeks ways to improve the processes and procedures in the contract management area

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Contracts Management Certifications
- Ability to organize, track, and convey information in clear and concise methods (MS, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, etc)
- Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated and measurable results.
- Investigatory/ research ability using internet, customer and supplier sources, peer networks, trade groups, etc.
- Ability to think analytically and innovate to achieve goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and other contractors / agencies.
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in contract negotiation and execution.
