Job Description: The Sr. Manager, Human Resources is responsible for the development and maintenance of strategic HR solutions to ensure personnel practices are aligned with company’s business strategies. This role provides support to executive leadership and management staff while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures through oversight of the HR team. This position oversees the development, implementation, communication, and ongoing administration of HR services, policies, procedures, and programs to support an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, in the achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sr. Manager, Human Resources responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and execute key HR initiatives that support strategy
- Ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA) including wage, employment and other laws and regulations in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
- Assist in the evaluation and direction of insurance claims, research, and costs and benefit analysis of various insurance programs.
- Ensure organizational compliance with company HR policies & procedures. Provide feedback to management concerning HR issues, policies, and practices which have potential to affect the organization and/or employee morale, and make recommendations, as appropriate.
- Administer HR programs (benefits and compensation) to ensure consistent interpretation and administration.
- Coordinate the annual wage and benefit review process, by region, to ensure competitiveness.
- Build strategies to attract, recruit and retain top talent to align with corporate goals
- Develop strategies to identify professional development needs and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach, engage, develop and / or discipline employees
- Monitor employee engagement and morale by tracking trends and assessing employee behaviors and attitudes.
- Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues.
- May including conducting investigations in response to Employee Relations issues and recommend/implement courses of action based on investigation results.
- Oversee and provide mentoring and leadership to HR Generalists.
