Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) is looking for a Supply Chain Property Contract Closure Specialist to join its team in McKinney, TX, El Segundo, CA, or Largo, FL. You will be responsible for interfacing with Raytheon’s Property, Program, Operations, and Contracts personnel to coordinate contract closure activities related to clearing of Government and/or Customer Property as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Contract terms and conditions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- A working knowledge and proper application of governing business unit’s directive documents, federal regulations, contractual requirements, and sound business practices
- Creation and distribution of reports
- Researching regulations and best practices
- Assisting in audits
- Conducting property training
- Creating and collecting performance statistics
- Coordination of property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associated contractor, or company property is in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy
- Represents organization as a prime contact on projects
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems
- Working with program and other functional personnel, as well as other duties as assigned, without appreciable direction
Required Skills:
- 4 years minimum property management or related experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc)
- SAP (APEX/PRISM) experience
- Prior work experience within the Defense industry with Contract Closure and Audit
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks to complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working with information systems and databases, data collection and analysis, creating reports
- Able to travel (within US)
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with DCMA (understanding of FAR language) to obtain effective contract modifications supporting closure activities
- Knowledge of and experience with Uniform Property System (UPS)
- NPMA Certifications CPPM/CPPS/CPPA
- Six Sigma certification
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Desired Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law
