The Welfont Group in Tampa, FL is a boutique commercial brokerage company that focuses on helping our clients find, analyze, finance, purchase, manage and sell commercial real estate properties. We specialize in representing real estate investors and tax-exempt institutions, utilizing provisions in the tax code to help clients reach their giving (charitable) potential.
We are seeking a Sr. Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to actively pursue all types of commercial property leads and to work with senior management to achieve sales targets and goals.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
Continually develop and grow referral network to develop more leads.
Make phone calls to inquire about specific properties for sale (lots of calls).
Make offers, and close real estate contracts with sellers and investor clients.
Educate and negotiate with owners, as well as real estate, finance, and tax departments on acquiring specific properties.
Actively pursue all types of commercial properties on a national level (no territory limits). Most of our buyers buy nationally.
Develop and cultivate broker and property owner relationships.
Maintain and be accountable to weekly activity, deal-flow reports and results.
Accurately and consistently use company CRM (salesforce.com).
Work with senior management on achieving personal sales targets and goals.
Work in conjunction with management to research and identify prospective properties, as well as help improve our acquisition and sales process and programs.
Represent the company, brand and clients honorably with integrity.

REQUIREMENTS: Position requires at least five (5) years of commercial real estate sales experience, including industrial and retail properties.
Must have a Florida real estate license in good standing, and must be up to date on all continuing education requirements.
Position also requires a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager).
Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable experience, knowledge and ability with the following:
1. 1031 Exchanges and other tax-related transaction experience.
2. IRS Section 170 Charitable sales
3. CRM software, including salesforce.com
4. Negotiating commercial real estate contracts and performing due diligence.
