Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Accountant who has something to prove – and someone who wants to be a part of building the best art company in the world. The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role within the day-to-day operations of the Company and directly impacts the financial and operational success of the business each day. The Senior Accountant is responsible for process management and will take ownership of their assigned duties. The Senior Accountant will drive changes in accounts receivable and inventory reserve methodologies, ASC 842 lease accounting transition, and process automation. We have a high focus on continuous improvement. This role will be expected to assist the Controller and CFO in driving improvements in invoicing, collections, payables, and inventory management.
We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant with a public accounting background who wants to expand their skillset into operations and work with a diverse management team with expertise in business development, corporate strategy, product development and production, logistics, manufacturing, planning, purchasing and supply chain management. Our objective and expectations are for the Senior Accountant to develop a well-rounded skillset with an emphasis in both operational and technical accounting.

Key Responsibilities
· Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations
· Assessing and developing procedural manuals for all accounting processes, identifying improvement opportunities for more scalable, efficient, and effective operations
· Design and implement key processes that drive improvements and efficiency
· Prepare month-end financial statements and analytics
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of positive pay activities
· Develop ad hoc reports to support management decision making

What Else Do We Look For?
· 3-5 years of experience as a Staff Auditor or Accountant
· 1-2 years of experience as a Senior Auditor or Accountant
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance
· ERP system experience (Syspro is a plus)
· Cost accounting experience is a plus
· CPA License is a plus
· Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset with a passion for doing things right all the time
· Strong time management skills and ability to work under multiple competing deadlines
· Driven and competitive in spirit with a team first mentality
· Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access user (VBA and SQL are a plus)
