Staff Accountant with 0-2 years of experience.
- Perform month-end reporting, GL maintenance & reconciliation.
- Analysis of budgeted & actual spending.
- Research in response to management inquiries
- Analyzing financial information as part of the financial reporting process.
Role & Responsibilities include:
- Gather financial data & ledgers.
- Prepare budgets & monitor expenditures.
- Assist in the consolidation of financial statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Assist in external audits.
- Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements and analysis of financial results for the various branches/regions.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analysis & monthly/quarterly reporting packages.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of commissions in accordance with Company policy.
- Assist in budgeting and cash forecasting needs.
- Assist with all compliance related matters including, quarterly reviews and year-end audit support.
- Assist Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Required & Desired Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong mathematical & analytical skills.
- Excell (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Able to multi-task & manage time effectively.
- Ability to read & analyze financial reports.
- Strong organizational & communication.
