Job Details
As a Staff Accountant, you are responsible for assisting with various financial reports and processes, such as financial package, forecast, financial statement, budget preparation, reporting, P&L and so much more!
Assist with preparation of monthly close package
Maintain our Accounts Payable inbox and process invoices through our AP platform for approval and payment
Update the finance team daily on cash availability and recent transactions
Manage company Travel and Expense Program using Concur
Maintain log of current tax obligations and annual report due dates
Assist in annual audit and tax preparation
Post journal entries for close related to cash, credit cards, accounts payable, and others as necessary
Review departmental reports on a monthly basis and explain variances from forecast
Coordinate and work on various projects throughout the year to impact the team and develop personal growth
Reporting as required by management
Assist with special projects assigned by management as needed
Coordinate with a diverse team of professionals located across the United States
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school or university in Accounting
1+ Years of experience
A strong customer-service mentality is a must
Work Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, and/or MineralTree preferred
Working knowledge of GAAPing knowledge of accounting software preferred
