Responsibilities:
– Multi-entity bank account reconciliations
– Intercompany analysis
– Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
– Analysis of revenue and expense accounts
– General ledger operations
– Preparation of monthly financial reports
– Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable-
Coding and posting cash receipts daily, weekly and monthly
– Researching / resolving issues with client Purchasing Departments
– Performing detailed account reconciliations
– Preparation of journal entries and weekly/monthly financials reports
– Calculation and reconciliation of depreciation, interest and amortization
– Audit of payroll budget variances
– Calculation and filing of monthly sales tax return
– Regularly maintain status reports and calendar deadlines
– Assist with month and year end closing procedures
– Special Accounting Projects, assigned as needed
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
– Three plus years Staff Account experience required
– Must have experience posting Journal Entries to the General Ledger
– Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all accounting related functions
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management
– Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple tasks
– Strong time management skills are a must
– Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to effectively track and communicate numerous small details
– Must have proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– Navision or comparable accounting platform experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
