We are seeking a Store Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise team of retail sale workers and can also be confident and self motivated.
- Attention to detail organization and structure and ability to multi-task
- Train and evaluate employees and be a team worker.
- Open availability and has a flexible schedule.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields, some management would be helpful , but is not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities, and has experience with customer service.
About Chucks Natural Fields Market:
Chuck Homuth is a Florida Licensed Nutritional Counselor with over 25 years experience in the retail health food business. He opened his first store in Temple Terrace FL in 1992, then expanded the store and opened a 2nd in Brandon in 1998.
Before moving to Florida, Chuck grew up on a small family farm in Southern Minnesota. It is a Minnesota Century farm having been in the family since purchased by Chuck’s Great Grandfather in 1892. It is there that he developed roots in the importance of the land and how it is treated. He presently is in charge of the operations of that farm, growing alfalfa chemical free, transitionally, for 3 years and in 2015 the land will be certified organic. He also owns a farm about one hour north of Tampa and hopes to grow organic food for his stores as he is presently preparing the soil there for growing. All this has prompted Chuck to change the name of the stores to Chuck’™s Natural Fields Market in reference to growing everything in natural fields.
He plans on emphasizing this message in his stores that we need to take care of the environment and it all starts with being good stewards with the land. In conjunction with the Brandon store getting a reconstructed fa§ade. Chuck’s will be having a grand re-opening after the first of the year to commemorate the new name change.
