Downtown Tampa company is looking for someone who has a strong mid-level marketing background. They are looking to hire ASAP.
- Position Title Budget: $50K +/- depending on experience.
- Position Title: “Local marketing Coordinator”
- Assimilate into the mix of lawyers and not be intimidated; “Must be able to walk into a lawyer’s office and say ‘Look –to meet this deadline we need X-Y-Z…” and press for closure when lawyers get distracted;
- Be a self-starter;
- Understand they need help from the marketing person to identify organizations in the community that their lawyers should be involved in
- Review marketing materials among various practice areas and recognize if they are prepared or not prepared if they suddenly get a request for RFQ on a multi-million dollar account; candidate needs to know how to pull together such marketing materials –or help get them organized and out the door –so the lawyers can feel it’s being professionally handled;
- Identify possible charitable events or activities the firm’s lawyers might be involved in;
- Understand or quickly grasp the scope and breadth of the many things the firm is – or should be—involved in;
- Internal person – and an external person – meaning they should be self-starter enough to know where they might be able to spend time in the community looking for new opportunities etc. that would support and add value to the brand
- Look for ways for various lawyers to marketing their own skills by understanding good opportunities (non-media) the lawyers may not know about
