Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator, Human Resources:
Under the general supervision of the Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialists, provides administrative, project management and coordination of recruitment efforts for the Human Resources Recruitment function. This position will start as a contract to hire, located in Tampa, FL. (Local candidates only preferred)!
Basic Functions:
- Coordinates the prescreening and scheduling of candidates to assist Talent Acquisition Specialists in filling job openings for both permanent and temporary assignments.
- Assists the Talent Acquisition Specialists in the sourcing of candidates through multiple methods such as social media, career websites, and job boards.
- Assists the Talent Acquisition Specialist in screening of candidates for non-exempt positions.
- Works closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to update internal clients on their openings, and prepare for weekly meetings by ensuring Talent Acquisition Specialists have the appropriate resumes and prescreens to present to their respective clients.
- Works with Talent Acquisition Specialists in coordinating recruitment postings, updating Weekly Recruitment Summary Report, maintaining temporary database, and ensuring proper paperwork is in compliance.
- Coordinates background checks and drug tests, including tracking results, and notifying the Talent Acquisition Specialists of any issues.
- Maintains accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, job files and other recruitment activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit.
- Posts positions on different career sites, job boards, and PMSI’s applicant tracking software. Follows the appropriate federal regulations (OFCCP) to ensure our recruitment process is within the established policies and procedures.
- Administers candidate’s skills tests, pre-screens and other pre-employment requirements.
- Attends and helps coordinates internal and external job fairs.
- Serves as a liaison between universities, local technical colleges, veterans and disable organizations to promote PMSI’s job opportunities and increase our brand in the community.
- Administers the recruitment/application tracking systems. Works with Talent Acquisition Team on system upgrades and improvements. Works with the Applicant Tracking System vendor to resolve any technical difficulties and provide upgrades to the team as needed.
- Coordinates the job offer process for the Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure it is done within 24-48 hours and it is processed accurately and with no errors.
- Works with Talent Acquisition Specialists to improve, streamline and create process improvement areas within the Recruitment process.
- Works with Talent Acquisition Specialists to improve the Career Webpage of PMSIONLINE.com. Works with marketing, HR and recruitment team to increase the career page traffic.
- Coordinates pre-employment process including new hire paperwork, pre-employment drug testing, E-Verify and background/reference checks.
- Performs various HR administrative duties including maintaining files and other HR records.

Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Desired: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
Work Experience:
- Required: 1-3 years prior experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or HR Coordinator, with emphasis on recruitment and sourcing, in a corporate environment. Experience coordinating and managing candidates and interviews using MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Desired: Experience handling the new hire process (gathering paperwork, background checks, drug testing, I-9, references, etc.); prior work with an Applicant Tracking System, Job Boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Desired: PHR certification
