Our corporate office is searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager! The Talent Acquisition Manager has accountability over all elements of talent acquisition, including systems, people management, reporting, and vendor relationships. This dynamic team member will be part of our Human Resources team.
Management Responsibilities
Manage recruitment process from requisitions to offers
Develop recruitment strategies utilizing job postings and boards, marketing channels, comprehensive campaigns, etc.
Collaborate with internal teams and hiring managers on recruiting initiatives
Coach and train recruiters and hiring managers on recruiting process and best practices
Build meaningful reports through the organization’s reporting tool for hiring measurements, including cost-per-hire, time to hire, and turnover rate and cost
Create and implement meaningful ways to predict candidate success through assessments, samples, etc.
Ensure all recruiting procedures are within compliance and submit EEO reporting
Identify future needs and build talent pools for each line of business and build contacts within the industry
Develop relationships with third party staffing firms and educational institutions
Participate in employment events, such as career fairs and networking events
Work with the marketing department to ensure recruiting materials are branded and focused on attracting candidates
Stay current with recruiting trends and new methods to source top candidates
Other projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources
May travel to other offices when needed
Recruiting Responsibilities
Strategize with hiring managers on where to find the best candidates
Create and update job descriptions
Posts opportunities on applicable job boards, etc. focusing on recruiting top talent
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers by conducting prescreening interviews
Train and coach hiring managers on lawful recruiting practices
Communicate with hiring manager and candidate throughout the interview and offer process
Set phone and in-person interviews for hiring managers
Build applicant sources and networks, including job boards and websites, trade groups, social media
Work with hiring manager to bring on their network industry candidates
Conduct background checks along with thorough reference checks
Assist in preparing and sending offer packages
Ensure compliance throughout recruiting process, including recordkeeping through the HRIS system
10+ years of recruiting experience
3+ years of people management experience, including coaching and development
Experience working with the commercial real estate industry, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Knowledge of employment laws and practices
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical experience – able to collect and interpret data-based measurements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Capable of working professionally with various departments and foster teamwork
Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Office, HRIS systems, LinkedIn, job boards, etc.
