Job Description

General Summary:

The Talent Development Trainer will contribute to the success of ConnectWise by designing, facilitating, and reinforcing learning solutions that build and enhance the professional competencies of our colleagues. This position will also be a significant representative of the ConnectWise culture to all new colleagues by facilitating the New Colleague Orientation. The Talent department is a high-performing team that understands how to balance work AND fun. It is this reason a position on the Talent team is highly sought after within the company. Responsibilities / Essential Duties:

  • Assist in developing interactive and engaging instructor-led soft skills training programs
  • Design and create effective instructional training materials that colleagues will find valuable
  • Conduct training sessions covering specific areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, ongoing training, and specialized training
  • Engage training and skills development classes in a way that enhances learning and knowledge retention
  • Facilitate a ConnectWise culture-filled experience during new colleague orientations
  • Use training tools to enhance learning and the use of our products such as user guides, videos, tutorials, and e-learning
  • Remain current on learning and development best practices and instructional learning methodologies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Experience with professional behavioral assessments used in corporate environments.
  • Experience using common learning and development content building software – PowerPoint, Articulate, Camtasia, or similar.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Office 365
  • Firm understanding of corporate email communication etiquette
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices and instructional learning methodologies

Education / Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of corporate training experience

Work Conditions:

  • Professional office environment
  • Some travel may be required
