Position: Administrative Assistant

TBAEP (a small non-profit professional association with about 300 members in the Tampa Bay area) is currently looking for a part time, work from home, Administrative Assistant.

Representative duties include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging members and potential members though various methods including Facebook, LinkedIn, Newsletters, TBAEP website and emails
  • Member database management
  • Assisting with outreach events including monthly luncheons, socials, service projects, Board meetings and annual membership event
  • Coordination with partners, sponsors, and student chapters
  • Manage sponsor tracking information and logo files
  • Produce graphics for various events including annual member appreciation event, golf tournament, and use in various communications

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Social media knowledge
  • Basic publishing and graphic design skills
  • Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets (Excel and Constant Contact for example)
  • Enthusiasm for the environment
  • Ability to stay organized
  • Ability to work flexible hours and work independently

Anticipated job hours: The time it takes to perform the duties of this role varies greatly depending on the time of year and how many initiatives TBAEP has going in any given month. As such the position is for a minimum of 20 hours per month during our quieter months and up to 30 hours during peak activity seasons. We expect an average of 20 hours per month but require someone who can be flexible with their time.

Pay is a minimum of $400 per month with $20.00 per hour for additional work above 20 hours. Any work above 20 hours shall be expressly approved in writing prior to executing additional services.
