Responsibilities
At Quest, the Tampa Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains Quest properties and fleet according to industry standards, building codes and in compliance with all regulatory agencies while providing excellent customer service to operations staff.

Complete basic maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, appliance/equipment install & maintenance, construction, minor automotive repair, etc.

Coordinate, prioritize and complete work orders and special projects independently, effectively and in a cost-conscious manner with minimal direct supervision.

Providing polite, professional customer service in order to maintain a good working relationship with all operational staff and management.

Respond to on-call emergency maintenance needs on nights and weekends in rotation with maintenance team.

Perform preventative maintenance at all locations including but not limited to HVAC filters and tablets, septic and water systems, vehicle fluids, light bulb replacement, etc.

Complete minor repairs and troubleshooting of company vehicles. Transport vehicles for repairs or use at various facilities.

Coordinate and follow up with vendors and subcontractors as appropriate.

Move furniture, equipment and appliances to include assembly/disassembly as needed.

Repair and maintain all tools and equipment.

Ensure projects are fully complete and work area(s) are clean prior to leaving any facility.

Receive electronic work orders and complete documentation of work order completion via computer database.

Attend appropriate 3rd party training programs to obtain or maintain certifications at the direction of the Director of Maintenance and Fleet.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Eligible to legally work in the United States

Be at least 18 years of age

Successfully complete a background check and drug screen

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Ability to thrive in a team environment

Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record or State ID

Ability to provide proof of educational achievement or required certifications such as a high school diploma, GED, college degree, advanced degree, or medical credentials

2+ years construction, maintenance or similar experience required
-
HVAC certification required

Electrical, plumbing or small motor vehicle certification preferred
