Goal:
Understand big picture of small business operations. Manage all recurring accounting and bookkeeping clients, reconciliations, issuing internal financial statements, client communications. Proactive approach to client questions and communications. Foresight to when client intervention by Manager is required. Work with Controller for multi-entity management and journal entry accuracy. Work with Controller and Accounting Manager to resolve client concerns, accounting questions, process-related questions.

We are a public accounting growing tax planning and business advisory firm for small to mid-sized businesses locally, nationally, and internationally. We also provide accounting and tax compliance services for our clients. We are a process driven team in all that we do and have strong professional relationships with our clients and other professionals within the community. We have resources and connections to assist all matters of a business and can connect clients to other resources as well. Roles/Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting (70%)
· Manage your monthly client list to meet internal monthly deadline
· Enter daily sales details
· Enter batched sales details when daily details not available
· Enter vendors details
· Enter expense details
· Apply vendor payments against AP where applicable
· Apply customer payments against AR where applicable
· Reconcile monthly banking, credit card, loan activity
· Reconcile intercompany activity with multi-entity clients
· Issue Monthly Financial Statements
· Manage client Master file and individualized client process
· Update client Master file and individualized client process where applicable
Client Communications (30%)
· Seamless Client Transition to our firm
· Initiate proactive client communications
· Coach clients how to better streamline their portion of recordkeeping
· Resolve client questions and concerns per internal SOP
Skills Required
· Must have strong numerical proficiency
· Must have strong organizational and task management skills
· Must have strong QuickBooks, QBO, and other accounting platform
· Must have strong technology skills to navigate between multiple remote environments
· Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
· Must be adaptable to ever-changing technology, Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft Office and other technology platforms
· Proactive attitude and a go-getter
· Strives for improvement within this position and will be a motivated self-starter with little supervision
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s’ Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
· 5+ years experience in public accounting
· 10+ years experience in monthly bookkeeping and accounting functions
· Must be strong in real estate accounting, asset capitalization, construction WIP, cost segregation
· Must have an accounting specialization/niche experience to add onto the wealth of our accounting department
